Kindergarten Registration

Whether your student is entering kindergarten, elementary, middle or high school, all students new to Orleans Southwest Supervisory Union should register through our online registration process. If you are registering a kindergarten student, you have the option to register through a paper application which can be accessed through the elementary school office.

Additionally, all necessary documents, such as proof of residency and immunization records, will need to be submitted as part of the registration process. For any questions or assistance, please contact the registration office directly or visit the district website for further instructions.

    New Initiatives

    Dear LCMSD Community,

This fall, our district has been engaged in meaningful conversations, new initiatives, and reflective planning as we work together to support our students and staff. Coffee Chats have provided a valuable space for connecting with parents, answering questions, and sharing updates. Meanwhile, our Data Learning Labs are empowering educators to utilize student data more effectively, driving instructional decisions and fostering academic growth.

We’re also thrilled to launch our second ELA Curriculum Pilot, exploring research-based resources to strengthen literacy instruction for all learners. In addition, following the recent tsunami alert, we’ve taken time to reflect and refine our safety protocols to further emergency preparedness.

These updates highlight the heart of our work—collaboration, continuous learning, and a commitment to student success. Thank you for your partnership in making LCMSD an exceptional place for education and community. Please see below for details on this important work.

  • COMMUNITY CLEANUP DAY
    Apr 30, 2024 · Buffalo School District

    COMMUNITY CLEANUP DAY

On Wednesday, April 24th, our school district took part in Community Cleanup Day. Students and staff began their day bright and early, ready to help make a difference. We were widely spread out through town to ensure that there were clean ups in multiple neighborhoods. The turnout was great as the weather was beautiful and we were also able to go beyond filling up a large dumpster.

The district is very proud of our diligent students for participating and putting in such a considerable amount of effort. We also want to give a big thank you to our spectacular staff as well. Events like this not only better the community, but our district too. We can't wait to do this again in the future!
